Plasma-catalytic technologies
PLASCAT air cleaners are based on plasma-catalytic technology, initially developed for purification of air in the spacecraft, it is at the moment the most efficient and cost effective gas purifying technology. Efficiency of the cleaning is 85 - 99.5 % , depending on pollutant and concentration.
The conventional purification methods have some peculiarities that prevent them from being used for the purification of gases. This is mainly connected to the operational costs associated with the utilization of reaction by-products (gas rinsers, restoration of sorbents), creation of high temperature reaction zone (catalyzers), etc.
